Artist Submission FAQ

What do I need in order to submit?

You will need the following information in order to submit: 

  • Email Address
  • Artist or Band Name
  • One (1) link (YouTube or equivalent) to a LIVE performance (Extra reminder: Your submission will not be considered by our team if it does not include live performance video. This is mandatory for our review process.)
  • Link to your streaming platform
  • Link to Electronic Press Kit (EPK) if applicable
  • Acknowledgement that you or your band have at least fifty (50) minutes of 100% original music to perform *
  • Main Booking contact for yourself & your band – First & Last Name
  • Main Booking Contact Phone Number
  • Main Booking Contact Email

New Artist Submissions for Mile 13 (2026) are closed. Please check back in the fall of 2026 for Mile 2027 submissions.

How will I be notified if I am selected to perform at Mile 13?

Artists who are selected to perform at Mile 13 will be contacted via the contact info submitted (email or phone).

Will I be notified if I am not selected to perform at Mile 13?

No, you will not be notified if you are not selected to perform at Mile 13.

If I have submitted in a previous year, do I need to resubmit?

Yes, you will need to resubmit.

If I am a returning artist, how do I submit?

The returning artist form is open for a limited time!

If I am a returning artist, am I required to submit?

No, but we encourage you to do so!

If I am a returning artist performing with a new project, how should I submit?

Please submit as a new artist.

When will I hear from The Mile Team?

Artists who are selected to perform at Mile 13 will begin to hear from The Mile Team in late winter (December/January) or early spring.

Are artists paid to perform at Mile of Music?

Yes, all artists are paid for performances at Mile of Music.

Is this form open to international or touring artists, or just local/regional artists?

This form is open to artists from anywhere!

When is Mile of Music 13 in 2026?

Mile 13 will take place July 30-August 2.

Realistic Expectations Disclaimer: Artists, please make note that we will receive several hundred submissions and, based on the reality that we can only include a handful of these new artist submissions in the festival each year, the odds of being selected to play Mile 13 are very long. It has become the hardest part of the job for all of us on The Mile Team (having to say no to so many deserving artists) as the festival has evolved in stature and popularity. Your understanding of this reality is important to us because, as noted, we can only select a very small number.
